The 12-man Mombasa county Disaster Management Committee that was set up by governor Hassan Joho on Monday evening swung into action yesterday. The committee held an impromptu meeting at the county hall yesterday morning, elected their officials, before moving to Bokole area Changamwe constituency to assess the flood situation in the area.
