Bomachoge Borabu MP Joel Onyancha's lawyer yesterday asked the High Court to strike out a petition filed by two election losers. Speaking during a pre-trial conference presided over by Justice Edward Mureithi yesterday, the MPs' lawyer Kibe Mungai said the petition filed by Peter Kimori and Albert Nyaundi has no merit. Mungai said that petitioners had indicated that Kithure Kindiki had administered oaths but Kindiki has denied the same.
