UGENYA MP Dave Ochieng has engaged experts to do a feasibility study on River Nzoia in a bid to end perennial flooding in the region.Speaking to the Star after chairing the District Disaster Management Committee in the constituency offices on Tuesday, Ochieng said a team of engineers will visit the region on next week to establish whether dykes or furrows can be used to prevent flooding.He said the flooding menace is a priority in his development agenda. “We want to end this menace,” Ochieng said.
