A 50-year-old man in Embu allegedly hang himself. Solomon Njue travelled from Runyejes in Embu East District on Sunday evening after buying a rope and travelled to Mutonduri in Embu North where he hang himself. Witnesses said they saw Njue, who was a casual laborer in Runyejes, on Sunday buying a rope but could not suspect it was for killing himself. Police took the body to the Embu Provincial General Hospital Mortuary. Embu Police boss Gasper Makau said the reasons behind the incident could not be established. He said they are investigating the issue further.
