THE current provincial police boss positions will be scrapped and replaced with county commanders in a few weeks. The National Police Commission has directed the PPO, AP commanders and intelligence boss PCIO to apply for the positions within 14 days so as to conform with the constitution. Chairperson of the National Police Service Commission Johnston Kavulundi said applicants must be police officers holding the rank of superintend and above.He said the officers must be university graduates with 10 years’ experience.
