MORE than 300,000 residents in Baringo and its environs are set to benefit from Chemususu Dam project worth Sh4.9 billion. The project by National Water Service Construction which started in 2009 is now complete and awaiting commissioning. It will be handed over to Rift Valley Water Service Board which is the asset holder to carry out treatment and water supply. Speaking to the press yesterday, board CEO Japheth Mutai said they are committed to providing high quality, cost effective water to residents. "Residents are assured of having unlimited access to clean water all year," he said.
