President Uhuru Kenyatta did not follow the recommendations of the task force he set up to spearhead parastatal reforms when he made the recent appointments. The task force, which was headed by Uhuru's constitutional adviser Mohammed Abdikadir, had made recommendations that would see the President not appoint parastatal chiefs.
